Thanks to some encouragement from dearest Julie, I’m officially back on.  The year is almost to an end, and each day between now and then shall have a photo.

Last Saturday we had a jungle-themed baby shower for my sister -in-law Lilly.  She is gracious, honest, and sincerely loving.  It’s very easy to celebrate people like her.  I cannot wait to have my second niece/nephew, and love all over them.  Though I think Jody is clearly the most excited (see above picture).

And what would an Agler women gathering be without some gluten-free treats.  GF cupcakes with animal print frosting… A-mazing.  I wish I could say I made them.  But I didn’t.

So excited for my sister.  Lilly, you are life-giving.  :)

Two days ago I had the privilege of doing a senior shoot with Brittany.  She willingly waded into cold water, laid down in a prickly, already-harvested cornfield, and wandered (with aimless me) around Brownsburg.  The above photo is unedited, simple. Love it.  Brittany, you are so sweet.  Thank you for letting me into life a bit with you.  More pics to come soon.

In other news, I’ve clearly not been updated with photos daily as originally intended.  We recently moved into our apartment and don’t yet have internet.  The time I spend in coffee shops is almost completely monopolized by school work (which I have in abundance).  Instead of pressuring myself to “stick with it”, thus making the joy of photography a burden, I’m giving myself grace.  I’m still taking photos and will post a larger than normal gallery with some of them soon.  Baby showers, new (little) apartment, a number of coffee shops, family and more family, and of course tea… all to come.

Life’s been hectic.  Not taking enough photos.  That needs to change.

Down to the wire on writing and turning in a paper.

A huge pot of green tea to get me through.

Exhausted, content smile after completion.

This is an old picture.  But a good one.  My sisters and I were getting ready on my wedding day.  Living in Fort Wayne introduces lots of new elements to life.  One of the best… rich, real moments with my sisters.
